Invalid Argument error exporting to CSV

When trying to export data from an Access 2000 table to a CSV file I get an
'Invalid argument' error. I never used to get this so I wonder if an
automatic update has caused this. At present I have to save as Excel and then
export as CSV from Excel to get around this. I'm on Office SP3 and Win 2000
SP4

I experienced a similar problem and was never able to get around it. I
believe Access 2000 is broken in this respect and that there is no repair.
My workaround was to stop using Access entirely for that application.
