invalid argument- when creating a make table query

I keep getting "invalid argument" when I try to create a
table based off 3 tables - which I have locally. I tried
to download SR-1a but I got a message that I already had
it. Sometimes I can get my query to work if I do a compact
and repair on my db or import the tables into a new DB.
But this last time nothing is working. - Any suggestions?
