I previously posted 2 responses to this question and still
haven't found a solution -
In Access 2000 I am running a select query that has a
field referencing a text box on a form (Description:
[forms]![form1]![txtdescription]).
The text box contains a string. If the string is > 127
characters, I get an error message that says "INVALID
ARGUMENT". I can't find anything in HELP on this error
message. I also created a blank database, put in a dummy
form and query to reproduce and have had some different
results. In one case, the query just would not run if
text was longer than 127 characters, in another instance
it seemed to just return "garbage" characters if string
was over 127 characters.
Any ideas what would cause this behavior?
