I am using MSQuery 2000 to pull data into Excel 2000 from
an ODBC (SQL) data source.
As long as I either use (parameter) criteria to display
raw data or do not use criteria and display totals
(i.e. 'count', 'max'... of a field)everything is fine.
When I use criteria AND ask for totals to be displayed, it
returns an error of "Invalid Column Name" and then lists
the parameter names of the criteria.
It does not do it all the time and not for all fields, but
I have not been able to see a pattern. (The field that I
want to total is not necessarily one that has a cirteria
attached to it.)
Any help is appreciated.
