Invalid Dates

I wanted to maybe use Microsoft Project to make some
historical timelines, and I got it to work with some
dates, until I put in old dates, and then I got an error
mesage saying that my dates have to be between 1/1/1984
and 12/31/2049. I am just wondering if this is something
I can't do anything about, or if I have a chance to do
something about it. Thanks!

If your timelines are in the 20th Century, you can use Visio to build
project Gantt charts and timelines for projects start on any date after 31
Dec 1899.
