Invalid messages were generated.The SharePoint Portal Alert service did not send an e-mail message.

Hi,

We are using SharePoint Portal Server 2003 on Windows 2003 Server.
One of our user is getting the message from the Portal as given
below.He is getting more than 200 email messages like below daily .


Subject of Email:

"Invalid messages were generated"

Text in the Email body :

"The SharePoint Portal Alert service did not send an e-mail message.
The service will try to resend the message"


Please help on this!

Try posting to the *Portal* server newsgroup. You seem to have made a
mistake and posted to the *Project* Server newsgroup.

Portal is microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver
