Invalid Node Name parameter

We are using MS Project Server 2003 SP1. If I open the Resource Pool in MS
Project and try to re-activate a resource, it gives me an error message:
"Project Server was unable to process the request. An invalid node name
parameter was specified". Does anybody know how to get around this?

I can re-activate a resource using Web Access (Admin / Users and Groups) -
but would like to do this maintenance in the Resource Pool in MS Project if
possible.

You have already discovered the solution to this annoying little problem,
which is to reactivate the resource in the PWA interface. Beyond this, I
would strongly encourage your organization to upgrade Project Server to SP2a
and to upgrade Microsoft Project to SP2. Hope this helps.
