Invalid Outlook 2003 add in

J

Jose Lopez

After updating Outlook 2003 with my old e-mail accounts I
was prompted to restart and the following message
appeared:
'C:\Documents and Settings\Jose Lopez\Application
Data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\Program Files\MICROSOFT
OFFICE\OFFICE\SBCMSYNC.DLL' is not a valid Ofice Add-in.

The *.dll in question is not present in my computer or
any of teh locations specified. How do I remove the
message, which prevents many automation procedures.

If memory serves me then that was from Office 2000 Small Business Customer
Manager, check to see if it is referenced at Tools > Options > Other >
Advanced Options > Add-in Manager, if it is uncheck and restart

Hello,

I am receiving the same error on Outlook start-up.
However, it is not referenced in the Add-in Manager as
indicated below by Mr. Crayk.

If you click the "COM Add-ins" button on the same option
tab, the same error reappears. Also, I have found the
corresponding entry in the Windows Registry and I am
wondering if there is a way to delete it there.

Thank you,

Josh Powell
