invalid picture file

I created a spreadsheet with a gif file inserted into
it. When other users of XP open the file, they are
getting an error message "Invalid picture file." When I
delete the picture, the error message does not appear.
Are there different types of gif files, or any other
ideas why there is a problem with the gif file?
