Invalid precision for decimal data type

I keep getting the error "Invalid precision for decimal
data type" on Pass through query connecting to Oracle 8
database. I am using Access 2000 (SP3) on Xp machine. The
query works ok on Access 97 and SQL Plus.

I searched the google site and found few poeople have the
same problem but no solutions were given. I did not find
one in Microosft support site.
Do any one know what the problem is?
