Invalid product key when trying to install Office 2007 on a new la

I bought office home and student 2007 a while ago and have successfully
installed it on my home computer and laptop. I have just got a new portable
laptop. It has no disk drive so I can not install office 2007 using the disks
but it did come with a preinstalled 60 day trial of office 2007. I have tried
using my product key to activate the full version but it says the product key
is invalid. Is there anyway I can use my existing product key to get the full
version of office 2007 without installing it off the disks?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall the trial and reboot. Buy an external CD or DVD ROM/RAM.
Install 07.

Thanks for the help, I've sorted it now. If anyone else has a similar problem
I put the installation disks in my home computer and copied the disks onto an
external hard drive (a USB stick with a large memory would also work). I then
connected the external hard drive to my portable laptop and ran the setup
files off of there. Everything is working fine after doing this.
