"Invalid Source Specified" Word 2007

Sue

I have WORD 2007 OFFICE. When I use the INSERT CITATION button, and I enter
a new source first, the citation that appears in the document then always
says INVALID SOURCE SPECIFIED.

And, when I try to insert the WORKS CITED in the document, by using the
BIBLIOGRAPHY button, this appears in the document, "THERE ARE NO SOURCES IN
THIS DOCUMENT"-- but the 3 sources are shown in the bibliography.

please HELP!!

I’m unable to use the Citations & Bibliography functions under the References
tab in Word for my Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. In Source Manager, the
preview shows "Invalid source specified." for the citation and "There are no
sources in the current document." for the bibliography entry even though the
source lists properly in the Master List in the Source Manager. When I try to
insert a citation, I get "Invalid source specified." in bold instead of the
source. When I try to insert a Bibliography I get "There are no sources in
the current document." instead of the bibliography. I'm also unable to insert
page numbers. I uninstalled the beta version before installing this purchased
version. I've tried to repair the installation and I've uninstalled and then
reinstalled. However, this problem continues. How can I fix this? Thanks for
your help!
