i don't have any idea on how to set this up but i need a datbase that i can
plug in my equipment one piece at a time. my headings in excel are
Tag | Type | R/Sp. | Make | Serial# | Description | Purc. From | Quan. |
Priced At | Initial Cost | Freight | Mis. Exp. | Tot. Cost | Sold for | Comm.
| Profit | Pd.√ |
& | Location|
then i need to be able to put an expense distributed to my whole inventory.
i hope that you can understand the way that i am explaining this because i
believe that i confused myself! if needed i can generate my spreadsheet from
excell to you. if you have any questions please ask.

this forum is for asking specific questions; nobody can tell you how to
build an entire database in a post. you need to start by learning the basics
of relational design principles (normalization) and then learning how to use
the Access software. for more information, see

that order. good luck on your project, and come back when you have specific
questions - these newsgroups are a great resource.
