i have rubber compound recipes and i need to keep track of the
ingrediants.each ingrediant is based on the part per hundred system.So that
i can share recipes with anyone and thay can mix what ever batch size they
want with out recalculating all of the wieghts.i have all the recipes in
excell right now.The spreed sheets work good for the calculation on the
recipes.But i have a hard time keeping up with ingrediants that i am useing
because i have to manualy go in to my inventory and retype the new wieghts of
every ingrediant that i just used.

What is your question?
If you develop this with Access, you can't share it with 'anyone' - only
people that have Access.

Look at the Inventory Management Database template. If you think of your
inventory as being "sold" (or change "sold" to "used"), this might work for
you. You can bring up a report that shows how much you currently have, plus
how much is on order. You still have to put in how much was used, but the
summing in the reports is automatic.
