Hi,
In moving contacts from one group to another, those contacts with Birthdays
and/or Anniversaries entered in the Details page had an event attachment
"furnished" automatically, thus creating an entry in the Calendar for each
one. I can delete the entries to the Calendar, but it still leaves the
attachments on each contact. The problem is that, in all but one contact,
the attachment, which should appear as an icon in the Notes field, is not
there when I open each contact, even though the paper clip denotes that
there is one.
Can someone please explain (1)-this behaviour, (2)-how to avoid it, and
hopefully, (3)-how to get rid of attachments one cannot see or click on? I
have gone to the end of the notes field and tried pressing Delete, and the
beginning and pressing Backspace, both to no avail.
Using Outlook XP SP3 in its original state.
