Why do attachments sometimes not appear in the body of emails being sent to
me? Most recently, this happened with a .pdf attachment - but I don't think
it is just pdfs. I have learned to use the "save attachment" feature to check
for the existence of an attachment on those occasions when someone has
indicated that they are sending one. Other times, however, the sender
assumes I can see the attachment and doesn't mention it. Confusion ensues...
