Invisible "Contacts" in Outlook 2000

After installing a new XP Pro system on A 2000 SBS using
MS Exchange 2000 I've lost display of Contacts. Thsy are
there but not visible. I've tried to remove and re-add
the Adres book to no avail. If I select contacts and
start typing a name I know is in the contact file it
resolves the name and puts it in the To: box. They just
don't display when you open Contacts in the TO: option.

If you open "real" Contacts in Outlook they are all
there. They just don't display when creating a new e-mail.

Right-click the Contacts folder, select Properties, then the Outlook Address
Book tab. Make sure the folder is enabled as an Outlook Address Book.

Thanks Jocelyn.

Have tried that and the contacts are selectable as a TO
option but the names don't appear on the screen. If I
start typing in someone's name that I know is in my
contacts the name resolves itself and appear but because I
can't see them I can't just select one from the list.
Very Weird!!

Try removing the Outlook Address Book service and re-adding it -- see if
that helps.
