Invisible Data

Certain sporatic cells will not display their contents in the cell, only
showing above. The cells are formatted "general", I have deleted them and
tried to reenter data, reformatted them, moved them, all to no avail. My
only solution is a workaround of deleting the affected rows and reentering
data, which is most time consuming. This has no pattern, occuring at random
spots within the spreadsheet. Any suggestions or solutions?

First insure the material is not protected.

One way of "creating" your problem is to change the font color to be the
same as the background color. If this is the case, then the material would
appear in the formula bar, but not the cell.
