Invisible drop down menus for all MS Office 2003 products under Vista OS

Just recently, I noticed that the drop down menus for all the MS
Office 2003 products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) have invisible text.
I see a faint outline for the menu, but the text is invisible and the
background of the menu area is transparent. I'm running Vista OS on my
Desktop PC.

Has anyone seen this issue? I've been running Vista with MS-Outlook
2003 for the last 4 months with no issues, and just last week I'm
getting this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: I tried updating the drivers for my graphics card, but that
didn't help. It seems I have this problem after doing a reboot, and
the only way to fix it is to go to the display settings, switch to a
lower screen resolution, and switch back to the desired resolution.
Since I didn't have this problem for the last 4 months and it just
cropped up last week, I suspect it must be attributed to an OS upgrade
bug or maybe some bit of software that I loaded recently.

Could someone please bring some light on this? I have the same problem.
I'm running win XP Pro, and only on one account I have these invisible
menues in office 2003 programs - though on another user account all the
menus are visible. I can not find the difference between these two
accounts... Seems like it is a configuration problem, but I have no
idea where to look.
