Invisible Files

I posted a message earlier and received the response as follows. How
do I find invisible files to delete?

Thank you.
Ryan

You can use "Remove Office" or delete.

Microsoft Office X/Office/Officepid <----this is an invisible file

~/User/~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office Settings (10)
<----deleting this preference file may reset some prefs you have set in
Office.

After deleting these two files you will be prompted to enter your CD
Key
in once again.

See my answer in your previous thread. In general, it's better to
keep the thread intact rather than starting a new thread, especially
since it had only been 20 minutes since your previous post.

You can try doing this through the terminal. If you give me the precise
location of your Office X folder, I can give you the command line you
need to use to delete the PID file.
If the Office folder is simply in the /Application folder, you need to
type:
rm /Applications/Microsoft\ Office\ X/Office/OfficePID
