Invite attendees from outlook 2002 to outlook 2000 problem

When an appointment is set on OL2002 and participants are
invited, the email invite I receive on my OL2000 is a
garbled mess. Going the other way, from 2000 to 2002
works just fine. Any settings to watch out for or is
that just an incomaptability?

Workaround:
Turn off the Meeting Reminder.
