Invitees can't accept my Groove 2007 invitations

Two of the people I've invited to a new workspace can't accept the
invitation. When they click the link to accept in the email I've sent
(regardless whether it's Trial version or not), their browser opens and they
get a page titled Goove Networks 404 Page Not Found error. Another invitee
was successful, though she was one of my Groove contacts and the invitation
was direct rather than through email. Thoughts?

I'm running Windows Vista but not with SP1, and I have Groove 2007 SP1.

I too am getting the same error: when my invitee clicks the link to accept
the invitation the resultant browser window is titled "Groove Networks - 404
Page Not Found".

Did you find the answer to this problem? Does anyone else know why this is
happening?

Me too. We evaluating this technology for a company wide rollout and aren't
getting very far. Can anyone help?

Not sure why you got this error message but here is a workaround:
- Save workspace invitation as file (Right click on workspace's name in your
launchbar),
- Choose a role and validate,
- Then open your email client, fill in recipient email address, write a
customized message and add you invitation file as attachment,
- And finally send your message.

Yes, I know, longer than your original method, but this one works ;-)

I am also having this problem. Thanks for the workaround. Here the setup
giving problems:
- My default browser is Firefox 3.0
- I have invitation .groove.net set to use the IE renderer within Firefox
(using IETab add in)
- Scripting is turned off by default (using NoScript add in) though
groove.net is whitelisted
- The URL looks like this
http://invitation.groove.net/invitation/?Invitation=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
I hope this will provide some help in identifying why invitation links (from
generated email or saved to clipboard) do not work.
