Inviting attendees in different time zones

Beth

I posted this questions back in May, but didn't receive any replies. I'm hoping I didn't stump all the gurus out there!

- When you need to send a meeting request to a recipient in another time zone, is there any way to get the request to auto-adjust for the TZ difference (so that it sets a 3:00 CDT meeting request as a 1:00 PDT on the recipient's calendar)?

-If so, can this be done through the Outlook Web Interface (running on Exchange 2003)?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Beth

it should self adjust for the TZ automatically. If someone in the EST sends
an appointment for 11 AM to someone in PST, it should show there as 8 AM.

Are you seeing a different behavior? if so, verify they have the computer
time and time zone set correctly. (We see a lot of users using pacific time
and adjusting the time on the computer to match local time instead of
changing the time zone to the correct local time zone.)

Hmmm... I'll have to double-check that. We have a lot of field staff that we have remote meetings with, and as far as I know, they all set their times correctly. But I will double-check.

Thanks!
