Inviting Users to a Meeting

I have a couple of users that just upgraded to Outlook
XP. With our company, there are many divisions all over
the world. We have a global address book in Outlook with
all of those employees. We are able to use that address
book to invite employees from all over the world to
meetings. These particular employees are using this
Global address book to invite other employees from
overseas to a meeting. When they invite the overseas
employees to the meeting, outlook takes a while to load
these overseas users to the meeting. When users that are
located in the same building are added, there is no delay.
At first, I thought this delay was caused by the distance
between our network and the networks overseas, but I tried
to do the same thing in Outlook 2000 and there was no
delay at all. Has anyone ever experienced this problem or
does anyone know if there is a solution, or is just one of
the quirks to XP. Could it possibly be solved with an
upcoming service pack?????
