Invoicing

Was looking to use the information from within a project to help generate an
invoice. Has anyone have any input on this?

Carlos,

You can export MS Project data, may be Timescaled data, to Excel, then
generate the invoice in Excel.

Carlos,
To supplement what Gerard said, in order to export timescaled data you
will need to either use the "analyze timescaled data in Excel" add-in
found on the Analysis toolbar, or you will need to write your own VBA
macro. Non-timescaled data can be exported via an export map (check the
Project help file for more information on how to use an export map.)

Looks like WorkAlerts! product can do this. www.workalerts.com. They talk
about about real-time notification, but it appears it could also do what you
are talking about trying to accomplish.
It could pull in information, do calculations, and then create and HTML
formatted (and thus professional looking) invoice. It looks like it could
also distribute it accordingly if necessary.
