IPaq 2215 Contacts do not syncronize with Outlook 2002 Contact Categories

I bought a new IPaq 2215 and tried to sync with my
desktop running Outlook 2002, but I cannot get the IPaq
to reconize any of the contacts within the Outlook
category folders.

How can you fix this? Is there a way to backup Outlook
Contacts and categories?
