IRR Function Limits

IWhen using the above function in excel 97 if I have 92
values I get an answer, with 93 I get a #DIV/0! error.

Is 92 the limit on the number of values in this function ?

No. IRR can handle more than 92 values. It uses an iterative algorithm to find
answers, and it only uses a limited number of iterations before it gives up if
it can't find a solution. Are you using an initial guess? If not, try using one
other than the default 10%. Indeed, try -10%.
