Irregular Line Spacing

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I recently switched to Office 2008, and now, in the middle of typing a document, my line spacing (Under Spacing, says Before:0; After:0-Single Spacing) will switch to After: 6 pt. This is very annoying to have to go back and change all the time. I've tried to change the default settings, but they are set at what they need to be. Is there another way to fix this problem, other than individually changing the spacing every time it changes on me??? thanks!

If you set the spacing correctly in the styles you are using, it will not
alter.

So you need to hunt down the styles that are incorrect and correct each of
them.
