Hi! Help! Can Outlook be networked between two computers
in same home? If so how or can you point me in the right
direction? We have a wireless network. Can't find any
info on it and need help!

Thanks in advance,

Not without setting up an Exchange Server.

What are you trying to accomplish? Sharing the pst file between the
computers? Receiving Email on each? What?

You can certainly network the two home computers and share the same PST
file, but you'll not be able to use Outlook on them _simultaneously_ to view
the mail. I have a home network and, in fact, have a wireless connection
for my laptop and my daughter's laptop. I also have two PCs wire-connected
to the wireless router. I have created a share on my main home desktop and
can view that folder on any of the other computers. While IT'S NOT
SUPPORTED (according to Microsoft), you should be able to place a Personal
Folders file in the desktop share, using Outlook on the desktop to use that
file and also use Outlook (but not at the same time as the desktop) on the
laptop to access it. However, removing the laptop from the network (i.e.,
going outside of the wireless range, for example) will cause Outlook on the
laptop to stop working. In that case, you might investigate setting up
Outlook on the laptop to also use an Offline Folder file (ost) so that, when
off-network, Outlook can still be used on the laptop and synchronized when
back in-network. I do not know personally if Outlook can be synchronized in
this way in a non-Exchange environment (we do it where I work with Exchange
as the message store), but it shouldn't be too hard to find out.

Of course, all this is predicated upon your having a home network.
