Is ComputeStatistics Dangerous?

Is there any problem using ComputeStatistics(wdStatisticLines) from the
Range object of a Frame (not a FrameSet, an old fashioned Frame object)?
Especially when it is not selected. I don't want to change the Selection
object.

I vaguely remember there being some problems with this. For example,
Information(wdFirstCharacterLineNumber) does NOT work within a Frame. Anyone
know of any similar problems for ComputeStatistics? Thanks!
