Is Drawing Canvas the default?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether or not the Drawing Canvas is enabled as the
DEFAULT setting in Word 2007?

If you have a fresh install of Office 2007, click the Office Button and
select Word Options. Then select Advanced and in the Editing Options area, is
there a check mark beside "Automatically create drawing canvas when inserting
AutoShapes"??

Is there a way to reset any of these options back to default if you have
made any customization?

No, it's not on by default

All that aren't document-specific options will go back to the default if you
remove the DATA key in the Registry (see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/DataKeySettings.htm for details if
you're not familiar with this key; substitute "12" in the Registry path for the
Office version.)
