Is .hgl a supported picture format for Word 2007?

I have a user that is trying to insert a .hgl formatted image into Word 2007
but keeps getting a error message.

I guess the question would be is .hgl a supported graphic format to be
inserted into Word 2007 and if so is there special steps that need to be
taken or is there a file convertor that needs to be loaded?

Hi USA Traveler,

The .hgl/.hpg/.plt support for Office officially ended after Office 95. MS has made the old converter available for download to be
added on an 'as is' basis to newer versions, but the converter doesn't play well with the new Office 2007 graphics engine.

There are 3rd party converters/viewers available for plotter/HP Graphic Language graphics.
