I have Office 2003 with InfoPath.
I do not have a SharePoint Server or Windows Forms Server.
I do have an ISP that supports FP Extensions.
However, this ISP does not support creating an access database connections
for forms created in FP.
With my former ISP, I would create a form and save the results to a folder,
which I can still do, or to a database, which is preferable.
Anyway, I've been given the task of creating a simple application form on
our site.
The usual; name, address, telephone, e-mail, and five multiple choice
questions.
<< I already have survey and form software that does all this, but the rub
is that this has to be done in Japanese, and the application I have doesn't
support Asian fonts. >>
Anyway, without a SharePoint Server, or a Windows Form Server, with
InfoPath, is it possible to:
Create a Web based form that upon completion will:
A: Send an e-mail with the information which is in some type of format that
I can import into Access or Excel
Or
B: Save the results to a database, for me, it would have to be MySQL. And,
if this is possible, is there a way to automatically set up the DB?
I know most of these questions could be answered by pressing F1, but the
version I have now is in Japanese. What I'd like to know is if I can do this
or not. If so, I'll get the English version, if not, I'll look for another
solution.
Many thanks!
