Is infopath the right product?

Before I go further with Infopath, I'm looking to implement a solution for a
client who needs to provide his "traveling consultants" with "forms" (They
are using Word
models format today) that can be filled on the road, sent by email,
with data used by a database, for generating reports and
statistics.

(today the statics words reports can obviously not be used
"actively"

Can experienced infopath users indicate if this is the proper product?
and perhaps some indications on where to find qualified "infopath"
developpers?

hi

this is an excellent product if the purpose is to only use Infopath to
capture structured information. It has high usability and hence perfect for
"travelling consultants". Infopath can be configured to send data by email
or directly submit to database as well.

Infopath is not the solution for generating reports and statistics. You want
to use Excel for the same.

with the scenario described by you, there might be minimal coding required..
i am not sure where you are located to give you information on the
developers there..
