Is it possible to achieve this goal?

Hi,

My IT guy has set up a shared calendar under the public folder, I am granted
the owner right to do whatever i want. I am wondering whether i can import
part of my personal calendar to the shared calendar? Thanks!

You can File > Export what you want from your calendar to a .pst file;
Then select the Public Calendar : File > Import that .pst into the Public
folder calendar..

You can also copy items from your calendar to the Public Calendar..

Do NOT import or export, simply display your calendar in a table view and
select the items you want in the public folder and drag them there using the
right click - then select copy or move. Most likely Copy will be the best
decision.

Importing and exporting items is a sure fire method to ensure data loss.
Items such as custom forms, connections between contacts and activities,
received dates, etc. will not survive the import export routine.
