is it possible to apply a new template to an old presentation?

the company imposed a new template with new proprietary markings, etc. Now,
I have to change all my presentations to the new template. Is there an easy
way to do this? It seems that all the info only describes using a template
in a new presentation situation.

As Lucy says, yes, you can apply a new template to an old presentation. But
I've got better results by opening a new presentation based on the new
template and importing the old slides into it.
