Dear Forum:
I am new to Microsoft Word forum, but I know, from other forum
experiences, that it is prefered I try to look for an answer to my
question in other threads before I start a new thread. I tried
searching for a possible answer in the other threads. However, I looked
through ten pages of old threads and also did a search and had no luck.
So, here's what I'm trying to resolve.
I'm making a resume that will go on a cd. I want to have links on the
resume that will point or lead to other pages such as a page about my
education, a page about my employment history, a page featuring my
cover letter, etc. The human resources department where I work has
already requested the cd, and I'm also thinking about putting my work
on a website.
At the top of my resume page, I have the following:
My name
Contact info
( A dividing line )
Resume Employment History Education Commendations
My question is the following:
Using Word 2000, is there a way to take the words "Resume", "Employment
History", "Education", and "Commendations" and space them evenly,
horizontally, between the left and right tabs? Right now, they appear
bunched together. Is there some way to select them and align or
distribute them evenly but do so automatically instead having to
manually insert extra tabs?
Thank you!
sincerely,
Scott Macdonald
