Is it possible to block reminder flags on incomming emails?

We are running OTLK 2003 locally and there is a user that keeps forcing
reminder flags to everyone he emails. The other users are wanting to know
how to block these reminder flags. Isn't this feature designed to be used as
a followup for the sender? He is using it to force reminders to all the
receivers!

So excused from work without pay, lowered pay, fines deducted from their
paycheck, or firing them are not options to manage belligerent employees
at your company? Why not simply block this belligerent sender (i.e.,
use a rule or Blocked Sender) so their mails get auto-deleted on
delivery? Why not just kill this belligerent's mailbox so they can't do
e-mail at all until they comply to company policies? Seems the cure is
rather simple: eliminate mails from this employee, or eliminate the
employee. There is something that you are not telling us about this
particular antagonistic employee.

Yea, I forgot to mention he is a manager. Killing his mailbox is not an
option. You can ignore is emails, however, it still pops up in the reminders!

Create a rule in the rules wizard to move items that come in with flags to a
custom folder you create. That way the reminders will only turn the items
red. Or you can create a rule to delete all emails from him.

Unless this "manager" has no higher up managers, like he is the
President or CEO, take the issue up with his boss. If this antagonist
is your boss, you are probably expected to report the problem to him
before reporting to his superiors. Just because it's my manager that is
screwing up doesn't preclude me from talking to the department manager,
the IT dept., or upper management. It is highly unlikely that this
manager has the wherewithal in your company to define e-mail policy, so
contacting the IT dept. might prove fruitful. He is, after all,
violating company policy (if there really is one).

Ignoring his mails doesn't eliminate them from showing up in your Inbox.
You could block mails from him by adding to the Blocked Senders list.
If that doesn't work to eliminate the reminders, define a rule that
moves his mails to your Junk folder and set auto-archiving over there to
permanently delete crap that accumulates in that folder after a couple
days.
