Is it possible to check if a printer can print double sided

Is it possible to check if a printer is capable of double sided printing.
And if it can print double sided to print the current document double sided.

I am not sure that it is, but in a business environment, where you have
control over the printers available, you can certainly select the required
duplex printer from a list of those available. Otherwise if the default for
the duplex printer is to print duplex, that is what it will do. If it isn't,
