is it possible to curve a text field to follow a circle's outline.

I'm creating a circle shape in Visio and adding a text field. Rather than
having the text field follow a straight line, I want to bend it to follow the
curvature of the circle shape. Example: lettering around the edge of a coin.
Is that possible? If so, how do I do it?

That is great - only one problem - how does one enter text??

On the demo page, press the "Generate Circular Text" button, it works
beautifully - however:
(a) bring the Circular Text Guide stencil shape on to a new drawing, and
there is no means of entering text;
(b) generate circular text on the demo page (fine), but copy/paste it on to
another page does not include the text - only the position guide.

What am I missing??

Thanks

I think it best and only fair to ask on the forum from whence the shape came.

Yes, it is possible to curve a text field to follow a circle's outline. This technique is called circular text or text on a path, and it is often used in graphic design and web development to create visually interesting and dynamic layouts.

To curve a text field around a circle, the text needs to be converted into a path that follows the circle's outline. This can be done using vector graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.

Once the text has been converted into a path, it can be adjusted and positioned along the circle's outline to create the desired effect. The spacing and alignment of the text can also be adjusted to ensure that it follows the curve of the circle in a visually pleasing way.

Circular text can be used to create a variety of designs, such as logos, buttons, and banners. It can also be combined with other design elements, such as images and graphics, to create more complex and dynamic layouts.

Overall, curving a text field to follow a circle's outline is a useful technique for creating visually interesting and engaging designs, and it is a valuable skill for graphic designers and web developers to have.
