Is it possible to get Outlook 2003 without Office 2003?

I would just like to have the upgraded version of Outlook, without changing
from office 2000. Is there a way to do this? Even if it means paying for
it, I just don't know how to go about it. Thank you, Cindy

Yes, you can purchase Outlook 2003 as a standalone product, but
it would be much cheaper to buy it as part of one of the Office
2003 packages. See
http://www.microsoft.com/office/outlook/howtobuy/default.mspx for
more information. Note that if your Word and Outlook versions
are different, then you'll lose the interactive functions between
Word and Outlook (e.g., you won't be able to use Word as your
default email editor in Outlook, or insert an address from
Outlook contacts into Word, or perform a mailmerge in Word using
an Outlook data source, etc.).
