is it possible to hide database?

I am using Ms access 2000 is back end database. And visual
basic 6.0 is the front end GU. My database in the
centralized server in the sharded folder. Write now i am
using Ado is data acessing componants. If i installed the
software in the customer site some customer opened the
database. How can i Hide or Prodect the database from the
user intervention. I can use the password becuase i used
database replication.

If the user can't see in your front end where the database is at, the
easiest way to hide it may be to change the name of the share. If you end
the name of the share with a $ then it will be hidden from the network
browser.
