Is it possible to insert a symbol into Word Art?

I am trying to insert a few Spanish letters (symbols) into Word Art and can
neither copy and paste them or have that option within Word Art.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Walt

Try selecting and copying them from Character Map (Start > Programs >
Accessories > System Tools) and pasting them into the WordArt text area. It
works for me.

Also, if you insert them into running text using Insert | Symbol (or any
other method) and then select the text before selecting Insert | WordArt,
the selected text will be copied to the WordArt dialog.

That did not work for me because when you open up the Word Art then you have
to do a right mouse click and select Paste but the right & left mouse options
are not available in Word Art, at least not in mine. But, I already had
designated certain keyboard strokes for many of the Spanish letters that I
use regularly and when I used them within Word Art it worked.

Thanks,

I am unable to paste anything into Word Art (left and right mouse function
does not work). But, I had already designated certain keyboard strokes for
certain Symbols and when I use those strokes within Word Art, it works.

Well, Ctrl+V works for pasting in the WordArt dialog as everywhere else in
Word/Windows, but my suggestion does not involve pasting at all. I suspect
you have not tried it. If you have text selected when you create WordArt,
that text will already be inserted in the WordArt dialog.

You are too dependent on shortcut menus. Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V are the
universal shortcuts for Cut, Copy, and Paste Windows-wide.
