Is it possible to link a task to a sharepoint list in Project Serv

Hi,

Is it Possible to link a task in a Project to a sharepoint List. i.e In an
Issues list in Project server there is a option to link to
Tasks,Project,Documens etc, Is it possible to link a Sharepoint list item to
a Task or Issue.

Chris:

Not in the same way, however each task contains a built-in field called
HREF. Here you can enter a URL and you can display this field in Project
views. Note that there is only one URL per task.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your Reply. As this is not possible. I wanted to run an solution
past you to see what your view was on this.

Create a custom action next to link items. For example a link called "Link
sharepoint lists" and then have a custom field store the values as xml of all
linked sharepoint list choosen from a custom dialog that pop up when you
click the above mentioned link. I will render the xml in a similar format as
the "link item" functionality. My only problem will be to link this against
the Project in Project centre. Is it possible to link a custom filed in the
Project centre as an icon.

Appreciate you comments.

If you want to ask developer questions, you should ask in the developer
newsgroup for project. I think the HREF field is an eaiser answer.
