Is it possible to lock drawing guides

Krism

I tend to use several drawing guides on the screen at the same time and find
that I sometime move them by accident. It is not possible to undo these
movements. Can I somehow lock them in a given position?

Hi Krism

I too face the same problem but found no asnwer. Any answer to this query is
really appreciable. This problem is really irritating to everyone. Neither
lock the guides nor undo the position of guide if it moves. I think we have
no option of locking either guides or objects in powerpoint. I asked many
experts but no answer. I suggested this option to MS. Awaiting the option in
next release or any add-in. U too suggest this so that multiple request for
same option may work to release a new addin or option.

Thanks, I was afraid of this. What is the best way of requesting the
functionality from MS?

You might set up the grid, and have your objects snap to the grid. Can't
move the grid, and unfortunately there is no way to lock in the guides Or
you could draw your guide lines on your master slide, and delete them after
you presentation is complete
