Is it possible to make an inward text spiral in Word?

I am trying to make a spiral in a word document using text and am not able to
figure out how to do this, or if it is even possible. Any suggestions/advice
would be appreciated

This is not possible in Word. You'll need a drawing program that lets you
fit text to a curve. CorelDRAW has a built-in spiral shape that you can do
this with.

Not for the faint-hearted, but you *could* do it in Word by writing the eps
code itself, saving as a text file, changing the extension to .ps, and
importing back into Word as a picture.(Of course, you'd have to know how to
write PostScript, and how to structure an eps file; and have nothing else to
do for the next few weeks...)
