Is it possible to move from a Site to a content inventory

Hi all,

I've recently started using Visio for my job as an Information Architect. I
use it most for sitemaps, to show how websites are structured.

Another deliverable we are constantly asked for is a Content Inventory. This
is usually an Excel spreadsheet listing out every page on the site, it's URL,
who is responsible for it etc etc. The agonizing part of this deliverable is
transcribing _every_ _single_ _section_number into an excel spread sheet,
plus their name.

It's the sort of tasks that computers were built for frankly, and I am
wondering has anyone done it before? It'd be a massive time saver.

You could add Custom Properties/Shape Data to the shapes, then use the
Reports to extract to Excel

Thanks David,
That seems like it will work. In the Custom Properties Dialog, I am asked
what data do I want to add. (i.e. String , boolean etc). Is it possible to
add a string and specifiy that it should have the same contents as what is
currently written in the shape?
