I made an insanely stupid mistake. I moved all IMAP mail folders to my
Outlook 2003 main "Inbox" folder. This of course deleted those folders from
the IMAP mail server. I then wanted to convert the Outlook email account to
be a Pop account and thought I knew what I was doing (I had done it before ).
I opened the Windows XP Control Panel and then opened the "Mail" item,
clicked on "Profiles", removed the current IMAP profile and created a new POP
profile in its place. Then when I opened Outlook all previous mail folders
had disappeared without a trace. Is there *any* residue of those folders on
my hard disk that can be recovered, one way or another?
Thanks
