Is it possible to trust a 3rd party application

Hi

We have an application developed in-house. This application uses Outlook to
send mails. When this is done Outlook pops up with a warning that a 3rd party
application tries to access.
Are there any way to "trust" this application, and always allow it to
connect to Outlook, and this way not having our users sit and wait 10-15 secs
every time they should send an email?

No, there is no trust mechanism for external applications, only for COM add-ins. The page at http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm lists all your options. Since it's an in-house application, rewriting it to use Redemption rather than Outlook objects would be a more secure solution than using the Express ClickYes utility that Oliver suggested.

If you don't want ClickYes running all the time, it is easy to call it from
your app just before you need it, then close it down afterward.
