Is it possible to use a pen enabled device to sign a document in W

I want to sign a word document in a specific space using a pen enabled
device. I don't want to sign and then paste it into the word document. I
just want to point the cursor in a spot and then sign. Is it possible
without Word converting it to text? If so, How? Thanks.

It is with a Tablet PC using the Ink feature. I am not sure, but the
software for your "pen enabled device" may have installed some similar
functionality.
